This very special shrub gets its beautiful color from a mix of stone fruit and shiso vinegar. We infused red shiso in vinegar for several weeks and then strained the vinegar and mixed it with nectar from locally foraged stone fruit and raw honey. This shrub can be used to make a delicious beverage by diluting it 4:1 with bubbly or still water, a sprig of mint or a squeeze of lime (or both).
Ingredients: pluots*, apple cider vinegar* infused with red shiso*, raw unfiltered honey (*=organic)
