Mudajara - a pilaf of lentils, rice, caramelized onions and mild warming spices. Our take on the classic dish deviates a bit from traditon by incorporating the deeply flavorful caramelized onions into the lentils and rice rather than topping the dish with cripsy onions. We recommend topping it with yogurt or tahini sauce, and serve with our Hummus and Middle Eastern Pesto (Zhoug). Add some grilled meat or veggies to make it a satisfying meal.
