Our versions, created by former TSH chef Mary Wellhausen, who also makes the tallow-based body soaps we sell, feature a number of saponified oils known for supporting healthy hair and scalp. Each has a lovely scent from organic essential oils. For the full traditional salon treatment, buy a jar of Bernie’s Best Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (dilute it first) for your conditioning rinse.

Ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Coconut Milk, Sodium Hydroxide (lye), Lavender Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil.

Wet hair thoroughly Glide the shampoo bar over the length of hair.

Massage well Rinse well Repeat steps 1 – 4.
