This frozen, ready-to-cook raw meatloaf is made with grassfed beef. Instead of breadcrumbs, we use lentils that have been soaked and pureed to create a classic meatloaf texture. We finely mince onions, carrots and celery, then enrich the loaf with a bit of liver, bind it with pastured eggs and season it lightly. This meatloaf will feed 2-3 people.

This flavorful gelatin-rich broth is made from Marin Sun Farms beef bones and browned meat, filtered water, and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Our beef broth is cooked for approximately 48 hours before being jarred, lidded and cooled. According to Dr. Thomas Cowan, "In healthy, traditional cultures, when an animal was slaughtered, all the parts were put to use, including the bones, to make mineral-rich broth. Our modern diet, having largely forgotten the use of broth as the basis of our cooking, is estimated to have less than half the mineral content of more traditional diets. Rize Up's story began as a home-based quarantine sourdough project that quickly turned into a micro bakery in the Spring of 2020. Sauerkraut brine is a wonderful tonic for the digestion, and recommended as a great way to rebuild the intestinal flora. This brine, harvested from our weekly krauts, can be consumed in small amounts to stimulate digestion — “brine shots” are a weekly ritual in our kitchen, and everyone was thrilled with the brine this week! Yume Boshi founder Ayako Iino grew up eating her mother's house made umeboshi pickles. She founded Yume Boshi in 2013 as the fruit on the ume plum trees became ripe in Northern California. Using traditional methods Ayako set to work transforming the tangy fruit she sources from small local orchards into pickles. Koume is a style of umeboshi pickle that is made with a different variety of ume plum. The fruit is smaller and more delicate. Soft, tangy, salty, bright red color --- that same taste but it can be used with less impact. Great for rice balls or for bento box. Umeboshi is a savory ume plum pickle eaten as a condiment for rice every day in Japan. She uses locally sourced plums and traditional methods of preparation. Ume plums are salted, flavored with red shiso leaves, and then dried under the California sun to make umeboshi. The ultimate companion for a bowl of plain steamed rice. (Mix in small amount as you wish.) Stronger taste than your usual pickle - a little goes a long way!??
